Hello everyone :) My name is Lena, I am 30 years old and I live in Freiburg (Germany). Here I work as a project manager in the field of labor market integration. In addition, I am currently studying part-time for a Master's degree in Educational Science with a focus on adult education/further education. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors (mountain biking, hiking, jogging), making music or meeting up with friends. On a rainy Sunday, I also like to pick up a book :)
Why workaway?
Traveling is and has always been an important part of my life. I particularly appreciate the exchange with locals, getting to know new cultures and experiencing the world in all its diversity. I have now decided that I want to broaden my horizons through a meaningful stay. I am not afraid of hard work and am happy to contribute my personal skills and abilities. Although I speak English fluently, it would be a great side effect to improve it even further. I am looking forward to my first work-away experience and great encounters!

- Through my various professional activities (including school social work, work with refugees...) I bring many valuable personal qualities with me (reliability, good communication skills, empathy, appreciation towards vulnerable groups, working in various teams...).
- As I am a sporty person, I am not afraid of physical work. I am also mentally resilient and above all able to multitask.
- I have a huge heart for animals and am aware that caring for them is not just about stroking them.
- I would say that I have a creative mind.
