Description

Hello!
My name is Lena. I am 25 years old and I live in Halle, a city close to Leipzig.
I moved to Halle to study medicine. Right now I feel the desire to take a break from university and city life. I really would like to step out of my comfort zone, share experiences and develope new skills.

I would describe myself as reliable, adaptable and eager to learn. I always do my best to meet new challenges.

My hobbies include spending time in nature and reading, ideally outdoors – on sunny afternoons you’ll often find me in a park with a book. I also enjoy cycling, doing yoga/pilates and hiking. Additionally, I love being creative.

About six years ago, I spent one year in Australia working as an Au Pair and traveling. This time showed me how much I enjoy exchanging stories with others. That’s something I’m really looking forward to doing again through workaway.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience in gardening. At home, I often helped my parents with their garden – digging, planting, harvesting, and mowing the lawn. In my own flat, I’ve also grown plants and herbs on my balcony.

I also enjoy art (whether it's acrylic painting, modeling clay or making jewelry). So if you have any creative projects, I'd be happy to help!

Almost 4 years ago I started taking pilates classes. Meanwhile I teach pilates classes myself as an instructor in a sport club.

When I was younger I spent lots of time walking our neighbours dogs. At home I grew up sourrounded by animals (chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, two turtles and two cats). I really enjoy being around animals and know how to take care of them.

I have experience in renovation tasks like painting, wallpapering and building cupboards. I can also handle basic tools like a jigsaw, drill, cordless screwdriver, ... and I`m really eager to learn more! :)
