Hello! My name is Leelah and I’m from Canada.
I’m an enthusiastic, adaptable, and curious traveler who loves learning from new people, places, and cultures. I recently graduated with a degree in environmental science and I’m now taking time to explore the world, gain hands on experience, and contribute meaningfully through Workaway. This is my first time doing workaway so I can't wait to see where this adventure takes me!

I’ve worked as an English tutor for children with reading disabilities and as a teaching assistant at university. These roles taught me patience, adaptability, and how to explain ideas in a clear and encouraging way. I can confidently teach English (experienced) and also enjoy teaching beginner French (experienced) to learners of all ages.

I thrive in fast-paced environments and genuinely enjoy working with people. I have experience in restaurants and customer service, where I learned the importance of teamwork, clear communication, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. I love the hustle and bustle of hospitality and the sense of accomplishment that comes with a busy shift.
I’ve worked as an English tutor for children with reading disabilities and as a teaching assistant at university.
