Coucou, I love being connected to other human beings by collectively working on meaningful projects, taking care of our natural and social surroundings and having an impact. That's exactly what workaway is for me.
I don't really have special skills to highlight but happy to learn pretty much everything and curious about different ways of co-living and creating.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My name is Lea, I’m 26 years old and from Switzerland. In my life, I’ve done many different things. I grew up in a big family (seven people, plus lots of animals and bees) with a large garden. Nature reminds me of home and is the place where I feel most connected to myself.

I also enjoy working with children and spending time with them. For three years, I worked in an animation circus in Switzerland. The circus world fascinated me a lot, so I spent another year working as a light and sound technician in the circus.

I’ve now been traveling for more than a year. I crossed the ocean on a sailing boat, hitchhiked a lot, and I really love meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and living the adventure.

Hmm, what else…
During this trip, I’ve worked in different Workaways: in a hostel/restaurant in Colombia, on an eco-farm in Guyana, on an old wooden sailing boat in Guadeloupe, and helping to build bungalows in Peru. I really enjoyed all of it.

I like being surrounded by people —cooking together, having good conversations, drinking coffee or mate, and sharing stories and life.
