My name is Laura, I’m 28 years old, and I’m currently taking a gap year to do work exchanges, meet inspiring people, and discover new places.

I’m a naturally curious and open-minded person, always ready to learn, grow, and contribute. I love connecting with people, cultures, and I truly believe that traveling is one of the most beautiful ways to enjoy life.

Over the years, I’ve had the chance to travel to countries across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Oceania, collecting unforgettable memories, including walking the Camino de Santiago and completing an international exchange program.

I feel happiest when I’m surrounded by nature. I also enjoy reading, exploring new places, running and doing some yoga.

I’m responsible, calm, and adaptable. I value respect, empathy, and teamwork in everything I do, and I always put my heart into the tasks I take on.

I’m fluent in Portuguese and English, and I also speak basic Spanish, which helps me connect even more during my trips.

Whether it’s helping with everyday tasks, contributing to a community project, or immersing myself in a new culture, I’ll be there with gratitude, enthusiasm, and an open heart.

I’ve gathered a mix of practical and creative skills through my work and travels.
As a journalist by degree, I’m always happy to support communication tasks such as photography, writing, and creating content for websites and social media. I enjoy connecting with people, so I’m also comfortable assisting with guest relations and reception.
Additionally, I can help with general household tasks, and because I love spending time in nature, I’m able to assist with gardening, maintenance, and animal care.

Besides everything I’ve shared, I’m someone who truly enjoys simple life moments.

In my free time, I love reading and watching movies or series. I’ve been practicing yoga for about eight years (Vinyasa is my favorite), and I also really enjoy running, especially when I can be outside.
