Hello,

I'm Laura, originally from Reus, Catalunya, Spain. At the moment, I am employed as an English teacher in Thailand, but I am keen to spend my time off volunteering in different places.

Over the past year, I've had the opportunity to engage in three Workaway experiences, and I'm open to the possibility of more in the near future. My primary goal is to travel as much as I can, connecting with people and gaining insights from their unique life experiences.

My travels have taken me to various destinations, including Madagascar, Brazil, Cape Verde, Morocco, Mexico, Thailand, Bali, Malaysia, Singapore, and several places throughout Europe. Each journey has left its mark and deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity.

In addition to my love for travel, I bring practical qualities to the table. I am an organized, easygoing, and friendly individual who can communicate in three languages. My professional background lies in teaching primary school, but I have also taken on various other roles throughout my career.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a teacher, I have taught children in Primary schools in Spain.
Furthermore, I've taught English, Art and dance lessons to children in their after school activities and Summer Camps in Spain. I also volunteered with a project in Nosy Komba, Madagascar as an English teacher to local kids and adults for a month.

Tasks I have done in previous workaways:
- Babysitting/ teaching
- Cleaning
- Cooking
- Reception desk

Other than teaching, I have worked in pubs as a bartender in England and shop asistant in Spain.

I am a very active and creative person. I've studied art in high school and I used to dance in a dance school for 6 years.

I am also very interested in:

- Art Projects (drawing, painting)
- Social Media/ Community Mannager
- Mountain Bike
- Hiking
- Sport
- Animals and pets

I love being outdoors and doing any kind of activities, games, sports and excursions! I am also a very easy-going person who likes to keep everything clean and tidy.


I am always willing to learn new skills and sharing cultures and traditions. I'll be more than happy to share mine!
