Hi 😊
My name is Laura, I’m 34 years old and from Germany. I just arrived in Canada and am currently staying in Toronto, starting my Working Holiday adventure. I’m excited to spend the next year exploring this beautiful country and getting to know its people.

I’m a warm, open-minded and curious person who enjoys meeting new people, learning about different cultures and lifestyles, and contributing wherever I can.

Over the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a freelance brand ambassador, event assistant and hostess for various (international) brands, trade fairs, and public or promotional events – welcoming guests, supporting teams, and representing companies in a professional way, helping things run smoothly behind the scenes – always with a positive attitude and a smile.
I’m flexible, well-organized and confident in fast-paced environments. I enjoy working with people and being part of something dynamic and collaborative.

I’m fluent in German and English, and also speak Spanish and French. I feel comfortable in international settings and adapt easily to new surroundings. I enjoy varied tasks – whether it’s helping at a front desk, in the kitchen, around the house or with creative or hands-on projects. I’m reliable, calm, and not afraid to get my hands dirty.

I’d love to experience different settings – from hostels and guesthouses to nature-based lodges, homestays, farms, or community projects. I really enjoy being in natural environments – walking in the forest, swimming in a lake, or simply spending time outdoors – but I’m equally happy in more social or urban places.

I’m excited to discover Canada’s nature, culture and people, and I’m always up for learning something new. Whether I’m working independently or as part of a team, I bring a positive, respectful attitude and enjoy making others feel welcome.

I have over 10 years of experience in hospitality, event work and promotional support. I’ve worked as a freelance hostess, event assistant and brand ambassador for international brands, trade fairs, and public events – welcoming guests, supporting event teams, and representing companies in a friendly and professional way. I'm comfortable working with people from all backgrounds and always bring a calm, positive energy to any environment.

I’m fluent in German and English, and speak Spanish and French, which helps in international and multilingual settings. I’m well-organized, reliable, and quick to adapt – whether I'm helping at a reception, in the kitchen, with housekeeping, around the house, or with creative or hands-on tasks.

I'm confident working both independently and in a team. I enjoy practical work, keeping things tidy, staying active, and learning new things. I'm also comfortable in remote or rural areas and love being in nature.

I’m happy to support wherever help is needed – and always open to trying something new!
