Hi there !
I'm Laura (34yo), from Belgium !
I am a trauma-informed yoga teacher, specializing in sharing movement as medicine - for holistic health. I am also a somatic coach and reiki healer+teacher.
I've spent 2025 in Latin America to dedicate myself to learning harmonious ways to live with the earth, taking care of the soil and the plants.
I'm looking to take part of projects that have to do with Nature and animals - with a profound sense of care. I have started a herbalism training and am dreaming about creating medicine with the plants.
Books and poetry changed my life in 2024, especially the writer Stephen Harrod Buhner who introduced me to the world of plant medicine, and the poet David Whyte who continuously invites to be in conversation with everything around us.
I am desiring to plant my hands in the soil and learn to listen to nature :)
I'm looking for learning permaculture and harmonious ways to be in partnership with the land.
Bit more about me :
- I've been solo traveling since I'm 21,
- spent 4 years (2020 to 2024 in Asia, mainly Taiwan,
- have done all the partying in my twenties, the thirties are dedicated to LOVE and commitment to meaningful projects,
- I could never fit in the city and office job lifestyle and feel like I've found where I belong when I put my hands in the soil,
- absolute dog lover,
- write poetry - and read it outloud (when I'm alone ha),
- and am a total nerd.

I'm at a transitional time of my life, and am deeply contemplating alternative lifestyles, having to do with connecting deeply with the land and living an eco-centered life. Hence my deep interest in ecovillages, ecocommunity, and any project that has to do with nature and animals

With two other volunteers, Manon and Julien, we worked on the roof for a a good week, it was physical :)
When we were done with that big tasks, we had other light ones, very enjoyable, of harvesting fruits, preparing conserves for peaches, collecting oreganos and other food/huerto related tasks.… read more
