Description

Hi! I'm a friendly and easy-going ex-PE teacher from England who loves travelling and living an active outdoor lifestyle. I am now a ski instructor who enjoys living and travelling in my self-built campervan throughout the summers. This has given me lots of practical experience and a real appreciation for simple living and hands on projects.

I'm very happy getting stuck into any practical tasks and have lots of experience in childcare, I also enjoy cooking so would be happy to help out in the kitchen whenever necessary. I'm reliable, hardworking, proactive and not afraid to get my hands dirty.

In my free time I love skiing, snowboarding, surfing, hiking, rock climbing and dancing. I am very sociable and enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories and being part of a positive team environment.

I'm excited to experience new places, learn new skills and contribute wherever I can :).

I have been learning French since I was 11 and picked this back up more consistently over the past few years. I would love any opportunity to practise speaking French as I am stuck at a beginner - intermediate level due to a lack of confidence in my speaking skills!

> Childcare & activity leadership - I have over 15 years experience working with children of all ages in sports and other caregiving settings.

> Gardening & outdoor work - Happy helping with weeding, planting, general garden maintenance and outdoor projects (I had my own garden to maintain in the UK and have experience building outbuildings and fences too).

> Practical skills & DIY - I have experience with a range of DIY projects from designing and putting up shelves and making shoe racks to building 3 full camper vans

> Cooking & baking - I enjoy cooking healthy meals and baking so would always be happy to help in the kitchen

> Cleaning & general help - I have experience in housekeeping and also maintained my own home in the UK

> Great with people - Friendly, sociable and comfortable working with families, guests or teams.

I am happy to take part in short or longer term projects and as I live in my campervan I am flexible with locations. I am looking for something I can balance alongside some online marketing work so a reasonable internet connection would be required! I have a full Canadian and UK driving licence and I am comfortable driving all sizes of vehicles. I am reliable tidy and respectful in shared environments. I have lived in a range of living situations from 1 - 80 housemates during my time in Canada and I find it easy to adapt to each environment.
