Description

Hi everyone, we are Christian and Josefa from Berlin, Germany. We're married with no kids. The little four-legged friend you see is our dog Lani who has been enriching our lives for four years now.
We used to work in HR and IT for years but decided to turn our lives into something more meaningful. What brings us the most joy is traveling, spending time in nature with Lani and enjoying the good food we love to cook. We discovered Spain to be the perfect environment for the three of us to spend the winter season, as we really enjoy the culture, weather, food and language (which we are improving bit by bit).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Both of us worked in so many diverse areas as we simply believe in learning by doing and trying new things.
We have already plastered and painted walls, assembled kitchens, repaired bicycles, and set up websites. We installed our kitchen by ourselves, layed the flooring in our apartment and renovated Christian's parents' house in Portugal. We also enjoy writing, songwriting and music production.
Practical and hands-on work is absolutely desirable but so is creative writing, painting and cooking.
Christian set up the website for a global movement aiming to improve the way domestic animals travel (flytogether.org).

We love animals and normally they love us back :-)
Lani is a rescue dog from Romania. She loves humans and brightens everyone's day with her positive energy, tail wags and little tippy tappy sounds when chasing birds without ever catching them ;-)
Lani loves other dogs but tends to bark first when meeting them for the first time. After a sniff sniff she's fine.

Both of us used to work way too much and too long in jobs without a meaning. We love to being in the nature, enjoy peaceful places, good food from around the world and an honest laugh at ourselves. In the long run we plan to leave the loud city of Berlin, Germany, behind, so that we've been browsing the world for places that suit our energy better.

We love to keep our place clean and tidy: bedroom and bathroom are pet-free zones and Lani's little paws are wiped after every walk. Lani is a rescue dog from Romania so we don't know about her first year. She first barks at some dogs but then gets along perfectly with them. She's totally in love with cats (we assume she grew up with some) and her best friend is a giant Labrador. At home she's quiet, doesn't chew furniture and respects if places aren't for her.

We'll travel to Spain by car and can therefore also help with groceries, serve as a shuttle and/or other transportation needs.

If you need references, Josefa has been traveling for more than ten years as an Airbnb guest, mostly accompanied by Christian and for the last years also by Lani. Profiles can only be shared with AirBnB hosts but we made you a screenshot of the most recent ones :-)
