Hi there!

We are Loïc and Valérie, a mother and son from Quebec. We are trying out Workaway in order to seek discomfort and discover new places and new people!

I'm Loïc (he), 21 years old. I love to be outside, to meet new people and to eat good food. I play music (guitar) and I'm always very grateful to learn from others. I believe workaway is an awesome medium to people, culture and to simply travel in a more human way!

Hello, I'm Valérie (she), I'm 50 years old. I have two childrens, Loïc and Marine. I am a elementary teacher. Apart from my work and my family responsibilities, I like to be outside taking the time to be in contact with nature, observing the fauna and flora, gardening or playing in the ground, or being on the water in a kayak... I'm also interested in mindfulness in several forms, yoga and meditation. I am someone who likes to learn with my hands and by observing what surrounds me. I like taking the time to get to know people in their element, sharing their passion.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both love being outside and working in team. We haven’t had the occasion of working together on a project yet, but we have the feeling it will be fun!

(Loïc) I have worked in many different fields throughout the last years (farming, helping elders, tree planting, baking...). I'm all about working outside and/or with my hands! I don't master any specific skill, but I love to help and I will give you the most I can :)

(Valérie) I am someone who easily adapts to my environment. I like working with my hands, with my husband we like to do it ourselves when possible: renovations, chicken coop, gallery, electricity and other small projects. I like being surrounded by kind people and participating in meaningful projects.
