We are currently in Kolkata about to travel to Puri then will be in Visakhapatnam to watch some of the cricket and explore the surrounding areas!

Description

Meeting new people, learning different ways of life and experiencing new cultures fascinates me, it’s what motivated me to travel across India and Sri Lanka.

I believe in the empowerment and prosperity of individuals through engagement with community projects with the aim to uplift those around them. Sharing, understanding and supporting one another is crucial to working towards collective goals which will lead us towards greater understanding of our environment and how to live in harmony with nature.

Food is my love language. I love cooking and learning new recipes, techniques and ingredients. I have worked in hospitality for almost 10 years, most recently as a pizza chef.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Louis:
As mentioned, I have almost a decade of experience working within the catering and hospitality industry. I have held various roles from dishwasher to waiter, line chef to supervisor all the way up to second chef.

I hold an MSc in International Relations from the University of Bristol and have a keen interest in Middle Eastern geo-politics. I am keen to learn about fundraising, grant applications and project management with a view to pursue a career in project management when I return to the U.K.

I have 2 years experience running a social media page for a local political party in Bristol. Community engagement, social networking and proof reading were all part of the role during this time.

I also adore children having helped raise my youngest brother who was 8 years my junior.

I have unwavering love for people and respect all animals.

Jasmine:

I have 3 years experience teaching in the U.K. where I greatly enjoy helping children with their education. I have interest in art and helping children engage with their creative side to help them learn.

At university I studied archaeology where I would participate in local excavations which entailed long hours of outdoor labouring and engaging with the local community. These skills would be transferable to gardening and farming.

I am always looking for ways to become more sustainable so would be extremely interested in getting involved with projects to do with helping to improve the local environment. I am also a huge animal lover so would love to be involved that way also!
