Hello,

About me:
My name is Krisha, I am 35 years old and work in London, England as a doctor.
I am a friendly and polite person and am keen to experience different cultures and explore a new way of life.

My Workaway and volunteering experience:
I first joined this site in 2017 and did 2 Workaways both in Turkey, one was helping out in a hostel and the other was teaching English to a young child. I really loved it and always knew I wanted to do something like that again. Last year I volunteered in a refugee community centre in Athens and just last month I volunteered with the Special Olympics in Berlin. I have come to learn that spending some time getting to know a place by mixing travel and volunteering is much better than just flying to places for a short amount of time. Slow travel is better than fast travel.

This year I really want to travel more sustainably and learn about eco projects/off grid lifestyle. I am ideally looking for some projects in the UK as I would like to reduce my individual climate footprint. However, I do love travel and exploring new places, so I am also interested in teaching English and other community projects abroad.
