Hello :)

Kosta and Oli here!

Oli & I have been residing in Crete for the past two years, working remotely and enjoying the beautiful Island. At the start of 2023, I decided to purchase an empty cargo van and spent 6 months converting it to a campervan. Since August of this year, I have traveled in my campervan through the Balkans and Italy. Spending 6 of those weeks in Bosnia & Herzegovina helping to build a new campsite.

My goal is to spend time throughout Europe helping out where I can and integrating into as many cultures as possible. Workaway is a community I have proudly been a member off for the best part of 6 years and have loved every connection I have made from the platform.

I have worked in farms, hostels, animal stays, campsites and lodges throughout my time in Europe/on Workaway and have completed a large array of tasks in the process.

I am very flexible on the work I undertake, and an willing to learn just about anything! I have a fair bit of experience which I love sharing with people too! I am mostly looking for a place I can call home and get involved in the hosts community and the local culture. A place where I can get a feel for the community and integrate myself in it for the time I am there, and hopefully leave a small mark on each place I travel too :)

Oli is a small/medium-sized legend! She is a stray from Crete, Greece and is just under 2 years old. She LOVES people and is happiest when around a lot of people. She is packed full of energy so will have no problem playing/hiking all day but will also quite down on days at home and lounge around. I am fairly diligent with Oli's training and consider her a well trained dog, of course I do give her the freedom to roam and around and live her life so a space she can be off lead is very important.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Having worked in many different Workaways over the past few years I feel I have a great understanding of how the volunteering role works and love the environment that all of these different experiences create.

This year I self-converted my van into a home on wheels! Throughout this process, I learned ALOT. How to research and find out the most effective ways to complete a task, using an array of power tools, working in tight environments with curved walls/hard to reach places, it's fair to say it tested my handyman work but am super pleased with how it has turned out and I have been constantly making improvements as time goes on,

I work remotely for a digital services company so have an array of knowledge in computer skills, marketing and business management.

Previous workaway tasks include; gardening, caring for farm animals, cleaning, lawn care, cooking, bartending, painting, fence building and woodwork.
