Hi, I’m Konni from Germany 😊

I recently finished my studies in special education and I’m now ready to explore new places, cultures and experiences. For many years I worked with children as a kindergarten teacher, so I’m very family-friendly and used to taking responsibility. I genuinely enjoy supporting people and being part of a positive and caring environment.

Even though I’m new to Workaway, I already have some volunteering experience – I spent six months working in a social project in Ireland, which was a very meaningful time for me. It taught me a lot about community, openness and adaptability.

I’m definitely more of a nature person than a city person. I love hiking, being outdoors and working with my hands. Gardening is something I truly enjoy – I don’t have my own garden, so I’m always extra motivated to help in one! I’m also happy to support with farm work or other outdoor activities.

At the moment I’m learning French (for about 1.5 years now), but I’m still at a beginner level – so I’d love to improve through language exchange and daily conversations.

I’m open-minded, reliable and curious to learn. I’m really looking forward to meeting new people and contributing wherever I can 😊

German is my native language, and I’d be very happy to help others learn or practice German if there’s interest. I enjoy language exchange and sharing knowledge in a relaxed and supportive way. I’m currently learning French and have been studying it for about 1.5 years. I’m still at a beginner level, but I’m very motivated to improve and would love to practice through daily conversations. I’d also be happy to join language courses if there is an opportunity

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a background in special education and several years of experience working as a kindergarten teacher. Most of my experience is with children under the age of three, which I truly enjoy, but I’m happy and comfortable working with all age groups. I love creating a warm, safe and supportive environment where children can feel secure, explore and simply be themselves. Through my work, I’ve learned to be patient, attentive and responsible, while also bringing creativity and joy into everyday routines.

I also really enjoy practical outdoor work. I have basic gardening experience like planting, weeding and watering, and I’m always excited to learn more. I’m reliable, caring and motivated to contribute wherever I can.
