What a inspiring site this is; just by reading about projects I really get happy form all the diversity of people and initiatives and positive places. I can describe myself as a positive and openminded person. Always wanting to learn and open to new experiences and people.
Last year I resigned my job because it wasn t anymore the kind of job that gave me energy. My idea was to do all kind of jobs for earning an income until I will be "pensionado" (august 2025). But I was very lucky to get benefit until this date so my life exists now of only doing the things I like. And I have noticed that after years of advice and thinking/organizing work (in the field of people who are fysicall of mentally limited) I really love to work outside in gardening. There are some places where I work on volontary basis with a diversity of perople; I learn al lot avout gardening and I ve met nice and interesting people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've worked most of my live in the care of people who are mentally limited. This in all kinds of jobs; coaching clients, management, training teams, advice and matching, as confident person for clients.

Volunteer work now and before:
Currently I m working in different garden projects in and around my hometown Rotterdam. One is an educational garden; another is a citygarden where all the food and herbs are meant for social projects.Sometimes I help at a carefarm.
The work I do is divers and depending on the season and what is needed. That can be sowing, harvesting, picking fruits, preparing the field but also helping with activities.
I learn so much and I want to learn so much more ...
I also love culture and since about 10 years I participate at the International Film festival Rotterdam (IFFR); 10 days a year I dive into this divers, colourful world and help at the information desk.
Between 2005 and 2011 I worked at transvisie Go; a netwerk for children with gender dysphoria or gender questions. Besides organising meetings for parents of "genderchildren" I also took care of the contact phone; offer a listening ear and help parents to find their way with the questions they have.
