¡Es hora de salir a la carretera!

Just a couple of New Zealanders (kiwis) on the lookout for genuine experiences. After working in the corporate and labour intensive world for the past 3 years we were looking for a change of pace. Travelling the world with each other was that change of pace.

At the moment we have explored Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Bali and Las Vegas. Mexico is our current home and it’s reinforcing my love for Latin culture.

Our motivations: Providing others with positive interactions, building relations, stepping outside our comfort zone and learning/exploring other cultures.

Hobbies: Music/vinyl collection, Esports, exercise/sport (basketball, gym, yoga), socialising with family and friends, movies, pet dog.

Hospitality and customer service experience, financial management, babysitting & experience working in an environment with kids, good fitness level.

Liam’s Experience:

Labourer/landscaping experience, hospitality and customer service, bachelors degree in communications/journalism, childcare, social media management.

Between us both we have a variety of skills & experience from a range of areas that we are ready to put to use but we are also extremely eager to try new things and grow our skill set. We pride ourselves on being passionate with our work and stepping outside our comfort zone.

Thank you to the awesome team at the Hostel for bringing us onto the team. As our first WorkAway we didn't know what to expect. Spending 3 weeks here we were able to develop relations with the workers and develop an understanding of how a hostel operates. The location is also great for anyone wanting to explore Bogota (historic center).
