Hey, my name is Kim, i am 27 years old and from Germany. I spent the last summer travelling and working on farms in Canadas West. After being in Germany for the Winter I moved to Saskatchewan in February, where I lived with my boyfriend. Due to that relationship coming to an end I am now looking for a new challenge starting from October. my work oermit expires at the end of April. I have over 20 years experience with horses and love learning new things.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have twenty years of horse experience and have my own horse since 2016. I do a lot of groundwork with him such as lunging, liberty, trick training, desensitization or mobility. I've learned english riding but included some western elements in riding my own horse due to working with western trainers. In the past I used to work as a trail guide for kids (age 7 to 17) in my holidays. That included preparing food for the kids and ding dishes, giving riding lessons and going out on the trails with them.
I like gardening and had a lot of plants back in Germany.
I've been volunteering at a lodge on Vancouver Island for their horse program since the middle of May and started dishwashing at the resort in the middle of June. On my days off I'm still helping at the barn. My work at the barn includes getting the horses in at morning, feeding them, preparing food for the next day, cleaning stables and tack, preparing horses for trail rides, joining trail rides, going on walks with horses, roundpen training and desensitization.
In Germany I had an office management job for the past eight years which I quitted to spend 6 months in Canada. I also had a sidejob as a cashier and once did an short internship in a hotel, where my tasks included restaurant services like polishing dishes, collecting dishes once guests where ready eating, folding napkins and preparing rooms for meetings and weddings.

I love to go on walks, birding and I am a hobby photographer. Tryint to improve my landscape photography as I just started with that. I am more used to animal, wildlife and portrait photography. If you need some new pictures for website or social media I might be able to help you with this.
