Description

Hello! I'm Kierian Overbeek. I'm 18 years old and was raised in Holland Michigan, and Austin Texas USA. I love learning about different cultures and even more living and immersing myself in them as much as possible. I also love volunteering and will always try to spend my free time finding and doing volunteer work.
I plan on taking this year as a gap year and spend some of it exploring Europe and maybe parts of Africa or the middle East before I go to college in Texas (hopefully majoring in global studies and international relations).

I am a Native English speaker and I'm willing to teach as much of it as I can. I also love to learn all languages and will definitely make an effort to learn some of the language of the country I'm visiting. I have lived in India for a year and have become intermediate in Hindi and am completely willing to teach what I know! I am currently taking Spanish lessons so I can become fluent

I plan on trying as many different works as possible through my work away, especially new ones I am not familiar with, as I love learning new things.

I have worked many customer service jobs like super marts, restaurants, or in retirement homes and enjoy talking to people. I also love volunteering and will pretty much do anything thrown my way to help. I love arts like music and I love to learn all kinds of new work.
