Description
Hey there! I'm Khairil, I'm 21 and a soon to be final year student of psychological science at the University Of Essex.
I hold high regard for host's who's work is focused on serving other than themselves, and on being a contributor of goodness in their community, regardless of how small its impact may be. It would truly be an honour to volunteer and learn from a host like this
I love learning about each culture's people, language, history, food, and learning about their unique ways of life and the philosophies they are rooted in.
Work Experience:
During the Summer of 2023, I worked as a full time horse groom and stable hand for a Grand Prix rider in Hamburg, and it was truly a growth enriching experience. From the long hours of hard labour, I learned what it took to take care of 7 horses 6 days a week, and I learned how to do it with excellence. Since then, I've been looking forward to finding a new experience for growth and new connections with people.
My Plan:
This summer, I plan to be travelling to different countries to conduct an exploratory research project on the psychological influences on the spiritual heart, alongside doing any volunteering work that's required, and I'd love for my host(s) and other workawayers to be my participants for this study if they consent to answering a few questions about themselves. more details later for when you participate ;)
