I am a creative person and looking for opportunities to experience the world. I recently lost my husband and closed our farm. I travel with a service dog and am mature. I have never done this before.

Description

I am a recent widow (5/2023) who is in search for the next chapter of my life. I am a (want to be) artist who is looking to find my soul and creative side again. I am a giver and love helping others and taking care of others.

I love to cook for people and do a great job at it having restaurant experience. I just hate having to do the dishes by myself. I love working with my hands and have many talents including carpentry, farming and designing. I would appreciate being around others who can inspire me.

I travel with a service dog for PTSD and anxiety which I am able to manage very well.

I find peace near water, especially the ocean and desire a place that is close to it so I can hear it often.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Many would say I am a jack of all trades, yet a master of none, but in reality, I have many talents across a wide variety of trades.

I am a book keeper, currently working with QuickBooks and other accounting software. I am the office manager for my sons business and have it set up to complete remotely with WiFi. In addition to the office, I help my son with construction and remodeling of his rental properties. I complete painting, trim work, repairs, drywall, construction, framing, basic electric and plumbing (US).

I have worked on a farm with my late husband for over 30 years, raising hogs and crops along with owning an equestrian center. Additionally, we owned a glorified farmers market, grocery store and restaurant where I spent many hours hands on including running the commercial kitchen.

I have worked in the senior care industry, managing a Retirement Community and taking care of elderly individuals through their passing. I find pleasure in caring for others and giving them the best life they can have.

My college degree is in Fine Arts and I am looking to find that piece of my soul back. I love creating, whether it be with food, in the garden, for advertising or photography, I am drawn that direction recently.

I am a team builder and supporter. I am mature (both emotionally and chronologically) both have the abilities and desire of those younger. I feel, in the right environment, I will be an asset to any community.

This is a big step for me and, as a single woman, I am looking for opportunities to build relationships beyond the community I live in. I am looking to travel the world and experience life, but find I do not have deep pockets to afford it. I love being busy and working, especially with my hands, and hope this experience will lead me to the next chapter of my life. Thank you for considering me.
