Salut ! We are Keri and Lucas, a French couple taking a gap year in New Zealand. We look forward to meeting you!

KERI
Hi, I'm Keri. I'm a 27 years old French / New Zealander. I've lived most of my life in France and now I'm taking a gap year to slow travel across New Zealand, to create memories with my wonderful partner Lucas.
I love to be outdoors, observe nature and hang out with animals. In the evenings I love to have a drink and get lost in deep conversation on niche topics. I'm a screenwriter and director, passionate about all things cinema. I also have a background in event organizing, accounting for music venues and movie theaters, and sometimes work as an interpreter (French-English) in live events.

I'm an organized and cool-headed person who can handle complex, fast-paced situations and loves to learn. This year I'm looking to learn more practical skills and work with my hands. I would especially like to help with gardening, maintenance or anything that's outdoors!
I also love to cook, my favorite thing is to make yummy vegetarian dishes for large parties.

LUCAS

Hi, I'm Lucas, a 31 French guy. I'm a video maker, curious about everything and I want to experiment new things in NZ during one year. I'm into outdoor activities and sports, but also literature, movies and arts in general. I love to document my travels through drawing journals. I'm also a bird enthousiast. I love to cook French, Italian or asian recipes.

I have a lot of energy and I can work hard if the project interests me. I would like to do physical work, learn about gardening and agriculture, animal care etc.

We can perform simple gardening tasks such as weeding, picking fruits and vegetables, and we are keen to learn more!
