Hi there! My name is Kelly and I live in Fife, Scotland.

I graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2019 as a mature student after studying a Bachelor of Arts in Photography.

I joined this site in early 2020 to enable more travelling and to experience life and work within different counties and cultures. I am very interested in learning about other cultures and using my time with hosts to photograph such.

Just before the pandemic hit in March 2020, I experienced my first Workaway trip to The Faroe Islands. I would now like to pick up where I left off and looking for Workaway opportunities for this year.

As well as being a photographer, I have other skill sets. In the past, I worked in accountancy and administration for many years before returning to education to develop my passion for photography. In the past couple of years I have worked within the hospitality sector and more recently in visitor services with the National Trust for Scotland. I have experience in wedding coordination, events planning, reception duties, front of house, creating content for social media channels, retail procedures, room guiding, daily running of historic visitor attraction, supervising team of employees & volunteers and overseeing living history education visits from schools.

Outside of work, my interests are long walks with my dog on the beach and out in nature. I adore animals, so helping out with animal care, dog walking, pet sitting etc would not be a problem at all. I love nothing more than going for a walk to explore with my camera. I also enjoy visiting historic sites & buildings, live music, reading, cooking, wild swimming and painting.

I am looking for hosts that would benefit from my diverse interests and skills. I would be more than happy to provide photography as well as helping out with animals/pets, B&B/hospitality work, baby sitting, household chores and office tasks where required.
