Hello!
I know it's pretty complicated to get a feel for a person over a description, but I've given it a go :)
What ya up to in life?
- I am on a two year working holiday visa in New Zealand. I came to NZ in February of 2020 as a journalist, with the plan to stay only for a couple months, and then got stuck because of COVID. Thankfully, I ended falling in love wit the country. I've been living and working in Raglan for the past year - it's been beautiful!
What is your work experience?
I have a degree in psychology, a background in journalism and I'm an aspiring artist - if it doesn't get more random than that..!
- Since the age of 16, I've helped out at our family run hotel & restaurant - with plenty of work in hospitality since travelling too, including working as a receptionist and front of house.
I've also got some experience gardening and with eco-restoration. I'm really interested in regenerative agriculture and sustainability in general.
- A lot of experience with kids, worked as personal tutor for 5 years and asa camp counsellor for 2. Have all the certificates for working for kids too :)
- Keen to learn new skills!
What are you hobbies?
- I enjoy being creative, with most of my free time spent working on an art project or writing. I'm also pretty outdoorsy - love hiking, camping, and exploring in general whether it be nature or connecting with people.
- I'm Also bilingual in Spanish & English, and can understand most conversations in French and German. So if you're interested in learning a new language I'm happy to teach :)
