Hello!
After having amazing experiences with Workaway during my time in New Zealand, I’m now looking for a new destination to explore during my semester break.

A little bit about me: My name is Kathy, I’m 19 years old, and I’m a student from Germany. I absolutely love spending time in nature, traveling, and meeting new people. I’m also passionate about animals, having ridden horses my entire life and worked on various farms over the years. Because of this, I’m especially drawn to Workaways that involve nature or animals.

That said, I’m also very fond of working with children! I’ve been actively involved in youth work for quite some time, which has given me plenty of experience interacting with kids in a kind, open, and friendly way.

When it comes to work, I’m very flexible and eager to help out in different areas. I enjoy cooking, working outdoors or with animals, and I’m also handy when it comes to practical or DIY tasks. I’m open to trying new things and learning along the way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am particularly experienced in dealing with animals. I have been riding for many years, have already had some riding participation and have been saddle safe in many cases. For me, the horses are my top priority, and loving, cooperative relationships are particularly important to me. Working with dogs or other animals is also no problem.
Since I worked on a horse farm over the summer, I am aware of the daily work on a farm. I know how to use machines and equipment, can take care of the garden or outdoor area and can also carry out many manual tasks such as small repairs.

Through my work as a youth worker in the fire department and in the youth research center, I am also used to and practiced dealing with children.
