Hi, we are Katharina (Kate) and Martha (Maggie), two 19 yrs old backpackers from Germany. This year we graduated high school together and decided quite spontaneous that we want to go on an adventure. Because we were always fascinated by the beauty of Australia, the countryside that seems endless, the wildlife and ofc the culture we booked a one-way ticket to Australia. Three months ago we arrived and soon started working on different farms as au pairs for about 10 weeks. We love the country air and the life we got to know. We would like to help on another farm, meet new people and understand the australian way of life.

The thought of learning a new skill, as simple as it might be, to enhace our lifes motivates us. To care for animals and help were help is needed brings us joy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since we arrived in Australia, we have participated in a farm skill training with the 2WorkinOz company. That way, we learned some basics of farm work, did some sheep work, and drove big machinery. 
We also worked as au pairs for 10 weeks. This included some gardening, cooking, and general housekeeping.

Both of us grew up with gardens and used to help wherever we could. 
If it comes to building or craftsmanship, we aren't too experienced yet but would like to learn new skills since it is always handy to be able to build new things by yourself.
