Hey I'm Karolin!
I'm an open-minded and adventurous person who love exploring new cultures and meeting people all around the world. I'm excited about the workaway program as it provides new experiences and the opportunity to learn new skills.

My first travel experience was in 2019 in Australia. I have been there for 5 months, most of the time in Melbourne. This time helped me to become more open-minded and to improve my English a lot.

Now I want to start a new journey to see more of the beauty of our planet.
In September I followed my passion and did a Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand. I would like to explore more places where I can share my love of Yoga.

About Jeremy:
Hello, I'm Jeremy, 27 years old. I'm embarking on my first travel adventure (for a long time like this) and I'm excited to gain new experiences and meet people from different cultures.

I am the oldest of three siblings, and we grew up in a small village. I spent a lot of time in nature, and I have maintained this connection with nature until today.

I trained as a Disability Support Worker and was working in this field since 2017. I guide students as a mentor during the education and support them to achieve different goals and strengething their personality. I am also the supervisor of a residential group, which has given me experience in leading a team. I possess empathy and can work in a goal-oriented manner even under pressure.

Karolin and I are part of a collective that organizes a small private festival together and also performs DJ sets in a club in our city. Music and DJing is a passion for both of us.

We travelled already together in different countries like Netherlands, Belgium, Croatia and Switzerland, just for some short, but good trips. We could find our passion there for travelling and now we would like to see more from the rest of this world.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Karolin:
In the last three years I was working as a nursery teacher, improving myself and strengthened my team work skills. As a mentor I accompanied students during their training period and learned how I guide in a way that helps them to find safeness and to develop their own personality.

In my time before I was working in this area I got experience in restaurants and help out in service of different areas.

In my free time I love cooking, planting in the garden and do some creative things like drawing, reading and writing. My passion is Yoga and I enjoy the time in nature to settle in and find my balance in everyday life.

I love working with other people and I'm flexible to help around in different areas.

Jeremy:
Through my work in the social sector as a team leader, I possess good teamwork, a sense of responsibility, and flexibility. In my free time, I enjoy engaging in hands-on activities. I work with a circular saw, an electric drill, and similar tools.
