Currently living in Germany, going three month backpacking in south east asia. I have workaway experience in tourism, farming and DIY projects.

Description

Hello there! My name is Karola Knuth.
I just finished my bachelors degree in geography and politics in Heidelberg. Probably from there, but also from volunteering with the NGO "friends of the earth" I have learned how to live sustainable and question the way society works.
Because I just finished my degree I plan to travel to and in the wonderful south east asia. I have never been there, but while studing I came across the region sometimes. And I´ve heard lovely stories from friends and family;)
I´ll be traveling with my partner Jannik, who lived the last semester in Yogjakarta, Indonesia. We´ll start in Bali, then go to Sulawesi and from there to Viet Nam, Cambodscha, Laos and Thailand. We are going to be quite spontanous, so we do not have really fix plans so far :D
To say some words about me: I practise a lot of sports as dancing, swimming and trampoline and I love nature!
That´s why I was elected into the board from a german environmental organization, BUNDjugend (young friends of the earth germany). With this NGO I went to climate conferences, gave workshops, was planning and teaming in children´s summer camps, joint afforestation events, organised policial campaigns and advocate for a climate just transformation. I am also a bit experienced in social media.
You see, I am interested in politics, state structures and society life but also want a sustainable, corruption-free, discrimination-free world without war, where everyone loves who they want and is free in their ovement, speech and how they live and work.
I am really excited to come to south east asia and learn even more about our earth, the rainforests and its animals and the culture. I do all of these things in order to help the global society fight climate change and maintain the earth as we know for the next generations.
My motto in life: together we can change the world 🙂

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can connect easily to new peoply, I am chatty and open-minded that´s why I am good in all cooperative works but I can also work alone (I am used to be alone because I am a lone child;) ). I can do a lot of sporty activities (horse riding, diving, dancing) so I could teach people espeically how to dance as I do this for about 14 years. I love cooking, baking and prepare drinks and have some work experiences with food, so I would enjoy any work with food or drinks. I am also good at domestic works in general, and after some practise I can handle computers quite well. For everything not listed: I enjoy learning new skills.
