Hi, everyone!
My name is Kalina, I'm 24 years old and I'm originally from Bulgaria but spent the last 6 years living in the Netherlands and now I travel around the world whenever I get the chance now. I worked as a chef for the last 2.5 years and would love to share food and recipes from all over the world.
I'm a marketing student and am very interested in creating visual designs, as well as helping people grow their outreach. I have experience in campaign creation, websites running and optimisation, etc.
I also have experience and am very interested in home repairs and renovations, having worked on 2 previous projects in Bulgaria. I have a genuine passion for building and creating things whether it be carpentry-related, garden-related, or in any other way. I have some experience with working in a garden and taking care of produce at my grandparents' little farmhouse. It brings me great joy to create things and I'd love to learn new skills.
I want to create a good community feeling, have meaningful conversations with people and get to know other cultures properly. I just came back from traveling the Western Cape in South Africa getting to know the locals and immersing myself fully in the nature and the lifestyle and would love to continue doing the same now in Western Asia and Eastern Europe.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As I've also written in my bio, I have worked as a chef for 2.5 years and have a passion for food. I've worked behind the bar of a hotel as well and have occasionally taken over the reception duties.
I've helped with the organisation of a film festival (Quarantine Film Festival) in Varna for 7 years from 2015 to 2022 and since 2022, I've continued helping the organisation of some small music festivals and parties.
As already mentioned in my bio, I also have experience with home repairs and renovations, as well as with garden and produce related work.
As a marketing undergrad, I have a lot of experience with creating designs, promotions and campaigns. I have also run multiple websites and social media accounts during my studies and have a lot of knowledge about how to help a business with their sales and strategies.
I also have a passion for working with animals and although I have not had previous experience, what I lack in practical knowledge, I make up with the desire to learn how to work with animals.

Autres infos...

I love playing card and board games. I also always carry some sort of outdoorsy items for games - like fresbees, balls, etc. I travel with my car whenever the location is in Europe, Western Asia or Northern Africa so I will be bringing quite a lot of games/toys with me. I would love to learn fire spinning so I'm always carrying around practice poys.
In general I love to find interesting things to do in my free time but I also love to just put up my hammock in the shade and relax some days.
