Hi!
I am Jirka, 22 years old, born in the Czech Republic, and raised in a small town near Liberec. I am a sociable, cheerful, and easy-going fellow who can get along with just about everyone.

My previous work was cooking and working in a hotel as a reservation manager. I enjoy hard physical labour and I am ready for new challenges. My goal is to meet new places/people and start adventurous life that will give me a new direction.

I am looking for a different ways how to live, i am planning on traveling for several years!
I taking this opportunity to learn as much possible.

I have been waiting for opurtunity to travel and live a life full of adventure and it is finally happenig ♥

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

After finished culinary school, i started working as a technician in a factory called Drylock.
After 7 months in that said factory i felt that wasnt a place for me.
So i Started working in 4 star hotel as a reservation manager and a part time cook. Which gave me a new perspective and expiriences in hospitality and tourism.
And it does not end here! when the Covid struck we had a little problems with staff so everyone had to do everything from housekeeping, reception to waiter or security.
This job lasted me 2 and a half years until now.

My first workaway expirience, - 23.09.2022 - 27.10.2022
was at a lovely place in Balsfjord Norway, and stayed there for a whole 5 weeks.
We were cleaning garage, instaling jaccuzi, placing down insolation and re-doing the garden. + - some daily task like cooking and cleaning. Link to the host can be found below.

Jobs in between 1. - 27.10.2022 - 21.11.2022
After my first workaway i took a job at a small dairy farm near Storslett, northern Norway.
In here i stayed for a month making a little bit of money for the road ahead. My job was cleaning the barn, feeding the cows, milking, cutting trees and small tasks around farm, like repairing fences, cutting fire wood and soo on.

My second workaway expirience, - 06.01.2023 - 8.5.2023
Beautiful place near Narvik close to the Lofoten island in northern Norway.
My job was working with sled dogs, cleaning the dog yard and making food for dogs, cooking for the whole family, driving the snowmobile and general maintnance.
and of course sledding ♥ Most of the time with customers, I was also providing the customers with informations how to operate and manage the sled and taking care that the whole tour goes smoothly.
Part of this workaway was experiencing the Sami culture and traditions.

Other than that i am pretty handy and learn quickly. No harsh conditions or hard work will scare me!
