Hello there :)

My name is Julia, I am living in Munich in Germany and I am 28 years old.

I am an electrical engineer and was calculating CO2 emissions for the company I worked for. Although I could say everything is fine, I didn't feel comfortable with my live. I had the feeling, this can't be it, sitting all day in front of a computer, and that something pulls me out in the world to expend my horizon.

Update: So I just did it! I quit my job and finally started traveling :)

This kind of fits to my personality that wants to learn and know everything. At the moment my interests are arts, environment and culture. For example i would love to learn how to plant and harvest own crops, how to do woodwork and just get to know people from all around the world. I love to go out in nature, especially in the mountains or the forest and just enjoy the little things in life.

My Hobbies are playing piano, painting, reading, handicrafts (like friendship bracelets, pottery, crocheting, upcycling). I like to do every kind of sports like running, Yoga and climbing and I used to go horse riding. I went surfing a couple of times and I definitely want to improve this! Also I love animals :)

Apart from that I am an outgoing person, love to meet new people and share experiences and stories.

I would like to keep up my english skills and improve my Spanish. Also I fell in Love with the Moroccan culture, so I would love to learn some Tamazight or Arabic. I am not sure if i can teach you german, but I will give it a try.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I like to help out proactive wherever it is needed, I am not squeamish about heavy or dirty work and am a quick learner. I like even "boring" work as I think it is quite meditative.

I am a qualified mechatronics engineer and studied electrical engineering with focus on renewable energies, so maybe I can help out with that. For example I can repair some mechanical and electrical things and know how to handle tools.
In general I learned that I am a responsible person who loves to fix any kind of things that need it :)

On the other side I like to be creative in every kind of way, like painting, handicrafts, weaving and so on. I am not a professional photographer, but I would say of myself that I can take some pretty decent pictures with my camera.

Animals somehow usually like me. I am very patient, not squeamish and good in reading body language.

If you have a piano I can play it for you :)

Oh and I nearly forgot to mention that I like cooking too and can cook some german dishes for you.

I am really curious about bushcraft and survival and would love to learn something about it. Also I am interested in learning how to hunt and go fishing in a respectful way.
