Hello, I'm Justine, a 32-year-old from New Zealand. Recently, I discovered a passion for practical outdoor work while living on a Hop Farm in Nelson so I am thrilled to come across and be a part of this incredible network. I have a passion for exploring new cultures, meeting people from all walks of life, and contributing meaningfully wherever I go.

I'm eager to embark on my first Workaway adventure in Canada, where I can immerse myself in a new community, and environment while exploring the area through hiking and mountain biking.

I truly believe in the power of cultural exchange to broaden perspectives and build lasting connections, whether it's helping out with daily tasks or new projects around your home or simply sharing stories over a meal. I'm adaptable, open-minded, and ready to contribute wherever needed.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have just spent the last six months on a Hop Farm in Nelson NZ, this involved a harvest season with all things horticultural. We had a nursery and glasshouse for propagation and vegetable growing on site. I can drive manual and have my quad bike and forklift license with an awareness of harvesting machinery work on a large scale.
I found myself drawn to practical outdoor work, despite my background in office administration and logistical roles for the past twelve years.
I do a fair bit of house sitting looking after dogs and cats here in New Zealand so am considerate of others homes and spaces and caring for animals.

I grew up playing volleyball and basketball so am keen on most team sports and giving anything a go. I practice regular yoga and I also love to bake.
General health and wellbeing are important to me.
