Hi, everyone! We are María and Juanfe, a couple who live in a town in Murcia, a small region in southern Spain.

Juanfe works restoring antique furniture and María has been teaching Spanish literature and language in a high school for two years and she also participates in the restoration.

After a long time and long conversations pursuing a different lifestyle, tired by the capitalist world, we want a more natural and true existence. We seek to get closer to nature and manual work, to a quiet life as a result of our own effort, meeting other people who have already started that dream. We want to learn from you, share and create together. We are looking forward to starting this adventure!


In our town we grow some fruits and vegetables, especially olive and almond trees. Juanfe worked making wine and cider. We also know something about pottery, painting... We take care of Juanfe's parents' chickens for our own eggs. Juanfe also took care of horses a long time ago. We can help with maintenance tasks, construction, with the land… We want to give and learn as much as possible. We feel this is our moment.

We have done and can do many things in many areas. Construction, carpentry, painting, mechanics, pottery, agriculture, livestock, art, bars, cooking and teaching. Also, we will be glad to share our language (Spanish) with our hosts.
