Hey there! I'm a psychologist from the Canary Islands with a high level of English who is looking forward to travel to places connected with nature and to learn skills that I cannot practice where I live, such as gardening, carpentry, farming, taking care of animals and EVERYTHING nature related :)

I'm really sociable, fun (I love making people laugh), and I am a really hard worker as long as we reach a fair agreement. Let's make something amazing together!

Buenas! me llamo Jonathan, soy neuropsicólogo y estoy buscando nuevas oportunidades para explorar el ambiente natural fuera de Canarias (siento especial debilidad por el norte de España) y aprender habilidades que no puedo practicar aquí como la carpintería, jardinería, cuidado de animales... y prácticamente cualquier cosa que implique estar en la naturaleza.

Soy muy sociable, me encanta conversar y hacer reír a la gente, y también muy trabajador (siempre que llegemos a un acuerdo justo) y respetuoso del medio ambiente.

I have some experience teaching Spanish and English, both in adults and in children, so I'm happy to help with both (though I'm not a certified teacher, but I am a funny one). Quelles sont vos compétences ?

When it comes to the types of work that are important in the places I'm looking for (such as farms) I haven't got much experience (or any at all), though I'm a very fast learner and raring to learn these skills.

My only real "skills" are a very good sense of orientation (I'm basically the map carrier when I travel with people), empathy, and a bunch of knowledge in psychology, specifically I have done research focusing on the effects of psychoactive substances in the brain. And I'm really good at coming up with memory and cognitive exercises for older adults. If any of this works for you I'm ready for knowledge sharing!

No tengo mucha (o ninguna) experiencia en el tipo de sitios en los que quiero viajar (especialmente granjas o parajes naturales), pero aprendo rápido y precisamente ese deseo de aprendizaje es lo que me lleva a ser un workawayer.

En cuanto a cosas que puedo aportar (aunque no muy relacionadas), tengo un gran sentido de la orientación y muchos conocimientos de psicología, especialmente sobre efectos de sustancias y toxinas en el cerebro y en la preparación de talleres y ejercicios cognitivos para personas ancianas. No exactamente lo más práctico en esta página, pero menos da una piedra.

Okay, in terms of hobbies, pretty much anything from hiking to climbing and sea diving, but what I'm really passionate about right know is foraging and learning to recognize edible plants and the like. I'm also quite a big nerd, so books, fantasy, board games, video-games... all that good stuff. Oh! and I love talking about mythology, such as Greek or Norse gods, as well as just random space and animal facts! I'm not very good at arts or music but I'd also love to learn some!

Principalmente pasar el tiempo en las montañas, hacer senderismo, bucear en el mar, cualquier cosa relacionada con la naturaleza. Ahora estoy muy interesado en la recolección de bayas, setas y plantas silvestres (y en aprender a reconocer cuales son las comestibles, lo cual es bastante importante). También soy bastante friki, así que desde libros, hasta videojuegos, pasando por juegos de mesa, me encanta todo. Ah, y adoro hablar de mitología y de datos aleatorios sobre el espacio, la física o los animales. No se me dan muy bien el arte o la música pero me encantaría aprender.

  Seafood tastes good but I have to go to the hospital if I eat it, so, no seafood. El marisco y los moluscos me llevan al hospital, pero aparte de eso todo bien.
