Hello, we are Nanna and Johanne from Denmark. We are taking a gap year between our bachelors degree and masters degree to travel, meet new people and experiences. We have a huge passion for hoses and everything to do with them. We have known each other from 2019 through our service at the Royal Danish Cavalry. Currently we live in the city of Aarhus, Denmark while studying at the University.
We look forward to the work away experience and meeting you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Johanne: I have been a horse girl ever since I was in my moms belly. Throughout my life I have always had my own horse and have been riding since i was about 6 years old. To my horse resume I can add; expierienced trailrider, former Husar at the Danish Royal Horse Garde and are currently taking dressage lessons whih a horse on Grand Prix Level (The horse is on Grand Prix level, I am on LB dressage level) I grew up on a farm and know my way around farming and are currently studying Agrobiology, so I can help with a lot of farm related stuff as well.

Nanna: I am, just like Johanne, a big horse enthusiast. I started horse back riding when I was 8, and have enjoyed it ever since. I am familiar with the tasks that follows, when you have horses and I am not afraid to dig in. I am mostly interested in dressage and trailriding, and have competed in dresagge at LA-level. Right now I am doing a bachelors degree in political science and have previously been and exchange student in the USA, and adapt quickly to new cultures.

We know each other through our military training with the danish cavalry where we went through four months of bootcamp and 8 months of extreme duty with the Royal Danish Horse Garde. In Denmark we live close to one another and like to go for a coffee every now and then

Johanne likes soccer

We like to be social and get to know new people and their cultures.
One of the biggest reasons for us to do workaway is to expierence a new culture from a local perspective and not just as tourists. It is important for us to connetct with our host and have a great time. this includes shareing meals, playing games and so on
