I am 24 years old, recently finished my bachelor's degree from geography, and feel the need to explore the world before settling down and starting a regular job. What motivates me to join Workaway is the opportunity to immerse myself in different cultures, meet new people, gain unique experiences and learn new skills🌞

I want to learn how to see the world from a new perspective and discover different ways of looking at it, especially in relation to nature and sustainability. I am deeply concerned about the impact humans on the environment, so I hope to learn more about how we can live in a more sustainable and responsible way.

My goal here is to find a meaningful project where I can contribute to environmental sustainability and make a positive difference. I would also love to meet kind people!

I grew up in a small village where we have chickens and bees, and we used to keep pigs and sheep as well. We grow our own vegetables and fruit, so I’m very familiar with rural life—including the hard work that comes with it. I have also been working as a ski instructor for the past five years, which means spending entire days doing physically demanding work. Despite the challenges, I truly enjoy it and love being active outdoors.

I am an open-minded and adaptable person, always eager to help and learn. Whether it’s farm work, eco-projects, or anything else that requires dedication and teamwork, I’m happy to contribute! :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I spent two months as an au-pair in Italy, taking care of children. This experience taught me a lot about childcare, patience, and how to connect with kids. I also work as a ski instructor, primarily teaching children how to ski. This experience has helped me develop strong teaching skills and the ability to engage kids in a fun and active way. I typically work long hours, so I’m no stranger to hard work and physical endurance. I also had the opportunity to coach a softball team, where I organized practices and supported kids in developing their skills. In addition to working with children, I've gained experience in cafes and restaurants. These jobs helped me build customer service skills and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments.

My background in geography has given me a solid understanding of environmental issues, and I’m deeply passionate about sustainability and living in a responsible, eco-friendly way. I am also skilled in creating maps using different software, which could be helpful in projects related to geography or environmental planning.

Growing up in a family where my father and brother built their own house, I gained hands-on experience with construction. I helped when I could or at least listened to their work, and I believe this has given me a good sense of construction and an interest in practical, hands-on tasks.

I always strive to approach tasks with a positive mindset and enthusiasm. I am reliable, and I highly value this trait in others as well. I’m excited to bring my energy and skills to any project I take on.

In addition to enjoying sports, I also know how to crochet, play a little piano – I love music – and I recently completed a sculpture course. I enjoy everything, haha :D
