Hello!
My name is Jody, I am solo travelling around Australia for the next year and am eager to explore the country and meet new people!

For the first nine years of my life, I was homeschooled. I grew up around animals, (horses, chickens and dogs) and spent my time in local woodlands and at my Dad's allotment. I was brought up vegan, helping to grow food and live more sustainably. In recent years I have begun to explore food, nutrition and diet and I'm always looking to further my nutritional knowledge and learn new recipes from different cultures.

With both my parents being basketmakers, I have always lived in an artistic household surrounded by people and projects which have encouraged me to explore my own artistic practices. I studied photography at University and am now interested in hand-poke tattooing, painting and graphic design.

I would consider myself to be a confident, friendly and approachable person. I am hard-working and a fast learner. I am happy to work alone or in a team.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

-Animal care
My Mum and I had horses for ten years, during this time I helped care for them and rode frequently. I am confident being around horses and really miss them! I have also always had dogs - I have worked as a dog walker and pet sitter.
- Cooking
I love being involved in the process of growing, harvesting, cooking and eating food! I recently studied a course on vegan nutrition and health and constantly implement that knowledge into my everyday cooking.
-Cleaning
I have previously had experience working as a professional cleaner and enjoy living in clean and tidy environments.
