Hi there! I’m Jovi from Canada.

I’m currently in Western Australia on a working holiday and hope to learn new skills and experience the natural beauty of Oz. I want to eventually start making my way up the North and East Coast.

I love hiking (easy-intermediate with the occasional difficult for a challenge), picnics, chasing sunsets, exploring new places, paddleboarding, and trying out new hobbies.

I’m interested in learning new languages (although I think I lose my English speaking ability the more I learn other languages haha). I speak conversational Cantonese, and am learning Mandarin. In the past, I’ve also learnt a bit of French and Korean.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My career work is focused on technology, like computer and phone troubleshooting but also specializing in the Salesforce platform. I did volunteering in emergency management with the Red Cross as well as volunteer work with a social services non-profit. I also have experience working with children: I was an English Teacher in Korea, teaching children in grades K-6 in addition to babysitting and camp counsellor assistant experience.

Outside of that, I am a fast learner. I hope to try and learn new skills in gardening, animal caring/ farm work, coffee-making. I’m proficient in housework/ general cleaning as I am very detail-oriented. I value reliability and accountability, so you can count on me like 1, 2, 3!

I love board games! Top games I’ve liked (that I still remember how to play) are Sushi Go, Takenoko, Splendor, Five Tribes, and of course Catan.
I also love stargazing and learning more about space/ the universe.
And a big fan of enjoying sunsets, hiking to get to gorgeous landscape views, basically anything that involves a pretty view :)
