Description
I’m Jessica! I’m currently backpacking around Europe and Northern Africa. I’m looking for a workaway experience where I can contribute my time and energy and at the same time make friends and learn new things!
I used to teach yoga but in recent years I’ve done many other jobs such as working at a dog daycare, serving at restaurants, and housekeeping. I also have experience building/converting a van which is one of my favorite memories ever. I have also been a nanny for a few different families so I have quite a bit of childcare experience.
I love to visit new places, learn new things, and meet new people. I’m open to different jobs in different areas. I’m an independent, responsible, and dependable person and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty.
My first language is English but I grew up with French as well, and can now speak basic Spanish since many of my friends back home are native Spanish speakers. I’m happy to share any of these languages for anyone who wants to learn!

The town was pretty quiet when I was there because it was the holidays, so it was very peaceful and it was so nice to have the company of all the dogs.
The work itself is not demanding - walking the dogs, feeding them, and cleaning up after them. I would say it’s necessary that… read more
She stayed in Andros for two weeks and has been great with our dogs, Jessica did more than we asked her for. She is very experienced with dogs and she adores them.
She left the apartment clean and tidy for the next volunteer to stay in.
