Hey, I'm Jeremy, just turned 20 and I'm spending a year in Canada!
I have made some plans for the future and I'm definitely seeking for a Travel Buddy.
October 2024 to May: spending time in Toronto
On 25 th of June starting my trip from Sudbury, Ontario to cities like:
Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City and Halifax.
Returning to Toronto on 23th of July and have a couple days of before going to Vancouver; BC
on 27th of July until 1st September.
Before I go into details I thought Im just gonna take my description simple:
I am obsessed with music thats why I also play guitar and sooner or later would like to start to make my own music. I am easy outgoing but sometimes its hard for me to make decisions or being a leader in a group Im feeling more like to "add" things and keep up the small things in life.
In 2021, I've got the idea of doing work and traveling a year in Canada after graduating from High School.
I have traveled a lot to Europe before, and tried to improve my personal skills with new people and friends. Which is why I have been on two exchange student programs before. I like to make new friendships and find my place in the world.
My first exchange in middle school to Turkey was exciting, because we had just started learning English and had no idea what our students would look like, but you can't tell the difference in how they must have felt too, probably just the same.
The first day was a little weird to be honest, because we landed in Istanbul at like 1 am-midnight, and we just stepped in their cars without knowing them at all. But this is just how an exchange should feel for me. At the beginning, you are nervous because you don't know anyone, but then start to make perfect friends in a short amount of time and then, sadly, you have to wave them goodbye on their way home. You'll never know how people really are until you just keep trying. They can turn into very lovely people once you become friends with them.
My interests I can share are: photography, concerts, music, soccer, gaming, driving, playing guitar, producing music, walks, hikes, reading.
But mostly, I'm a big fan of talking about or listening to music.
My Musical Journey took place in 2016. While moving on with german rap, I discovered my passion for metalcore through my best friend William, who brought me into this scene back then. The first metal track I listened to was "Unchosen - Artemis Rising", by a small group from my hometown.
With that being said, I began listening to: Bring Me The Horizon, Asking Alexandria, The World Alive, Motionless in White, Slipknot, The Devil Wears Prada, Electric Callboy, Pierce The Veil, and Future Palace.
But also defining 2000s rock influenced me with big obstacles in my life, especially Linking Park with Chester and Mike writing music about becoming a better version of yourself.
But the biggest part of my journey, being left out by now, is for sure "Bad Omens", with their incredible new sound of soft pop and heavy metal breakdowns presented on the album "The Death of Peace of Mind".
I have known them since 2019 and left a big mark on my musical interests. Even seeing them develop in so many good ways is just awesome to share with the world. I saw them live here in Germany twice and their live performances were incredibly good.
But not everything has to be metal.
I'm also a big fan of soft indie pop, referring to bands like Men I trust, Beabadoobee, Clairo, Girl in Red, Cro, which always left space for chill and sortable days in the past.
To sum up, I love to listen to music anywhere, on the bus, on my way home, in the car.
Just turn the volume up and enjoy the vibe :)
The only books that helped me develop myself were "The Big Five for Life" and "The Café on the edge of the World" by John Strelecky.
One is about to never feel like going to work again and to really find out why we are living to what our goal is, our goal in life. The other one is more about giving a solution to the sins of life.Centres d’intérêt

Yes, absolutely! I learned a very high level of amateurs spanish in high school, and I would like to practice it more and keep learning, because my best friend is from Spain so I got basically no other choice then to just learn it professionally. And German sure I can teach, even though its a very dynamic and hard language to learn with a lot of strict grammar ahahahCompétences et connaissances que j'aimerais partager ou apprendre

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have gained experience as a PSW here, Im taking care of Bill who is very lovely and I like the time I spend with him, so I could also take care of pensioners, doing diaper changes, feeding, taking walks, playing games, storytelling....
I can take care of younger kids, I grew up in a big family and I am the oldest from my 5 sibling, so being responsible is a thing for me.
I can also do basic cooking since my family has owned a cafe for a long time and my grandma did teached me a lot about cooking.
My parents teached very strictly which I dont regret, teaching me manners helped me to understand the importance of keeping the house clean, and the value of respect
I can also drive! Got 2+ years of driving experience, I own a manual Fiat Panda in Germany and I love to drive! I always used to pick up my siblings from any events it's lovely. Just went on a road trip with it this year from Germany to Spain and it was way too fun
I have always been a very ambitious person outside of school because my parents taught me the value of money from an early age, so at the age of 15 I started working on weekends or any free time I had at the time. My skills can be divided personally and through my previous work experience. I would describe myself as very ambitious and outgoing. I have found that I need people around me to have fun in my life. I am also currently learning to be very extroverted. Sometimes it is challenging, but it gets better every day as I don't like the idea of being an introvert all your life. By being open-minded I have learned many new things from people that could actually help me develop further. I also have no problem spending time alone or solving a problem on my own, but sometimes I just need to be in contact with people, otherwise I don't feel like myself. Which is why I would like to study gastronomy later on, because even though many people might not see it as a special job, it is very special to me. As a waiter I had the chance to meet so many different people and experience a lot through travel and stories, so it is important for me to mention that I work well with people; for me it is like a mutual dopamine exchange. For example, if a guest is completely satisfied with the service they receive, that makes me happy too, because I was able to make someone happy through my work.Âge

Oh right now I'm learning to play cribbage with Bill a very sweet pensioner that I take care of as a PSW and I like to play some Poker, Skip-bo and any other card or boardgames I really love them!
This year I want to become a better version of myself. I have tried to escape every problem in my life that exists. For example, school or work which I spent a whole decade on. I would like to just settle down and take a break from all the things I was worried about. That's why I'm trying to visit a country all alone and fighting my way through it. I like challenging things, but I don't like to start where it ended. For example, after I graduated from high school, most people go to study at university right away, and that's not a thing I want to experience again. To take more risks in life, traveling without knowing where you are going, is a thing I'm looking forward to trying!Informations complémentaires
