Hi!
A few years ago I had a great experience using HelpX, a similar site to this- But seeing there were perhaps a slight notch more hosts using this site (?) I thought I'd give Workaway a go!


Looking forward to meet some workaway hosts!

As a person I would say that I'm easy going and in a good , steady mood. Eager to work / Self motivated and enjoy learning and doing new things and meeting new people. Enjoy manual labour in any weather.

In my spare time I like to take a jog, paddeling kayak, spending time with friends or the occasional computer game, reading books or drawing silly cartoony stuff

Recently I've had 3 jobs depending on what time of year it is
• In a tourist cabin in the mountains in Norway
• In a kindergarden
• And as a gardener in the capitol, doing simple gardening (preparing soil for flowers, planting, trimming and mowing lawns etcetera

I really enjoy working outisde, physical labour or with earth and forrest work like chopping wood, feeling the weather.
Open minded and positive, eager to learn and happy to experience different ways of living, different outlooks upon life how to do do things and I enjoy having animals around!
I once worked briefly on a sheep farm liked to for example muck out the barn, which was one of the tasks (maybe because my reduced sence of smell?)
Used to working in gardens and on a little on farms. Plucking weeds,

Inspired by all sorts of people who has taken a small sidestep to follow their ideas!

Working in the mountain got me used to be happy with having few things, few options, no internet and off the grid. A nice oppurtunity to let things settle and to perhaps gain calmness or new perspectives

Although I try to keep an eye on the general news and on what is happening in the world.

I love to -from time to time visit and explore the islands by the local coastline, padle with a friend or alone, bring some food, a book, a fishing rod- making a fire, sleeping outside and listen to the ocean as I fall asleep


I enjoy meeting new people, making new friends. Curious about culture, history! :)
