Hi, I’m Jess! I am from Colorado, US and I’m very active and I love being outdoors. I enjoy hiking, skiing, running, yoga, gardening, and exploring new places! I also love animals and dog sit frequently. I have been working in an administrative role helping run an avalanche safety program for the state of Colorado. I also have 5+ years of experience in the restaurant business being a waitress/bartender. I’m easy going, very clean, respectful, kind, and organized. I love meeting new people but also enjoy my alone time. I studied public health education in college and have volunteered with nonprofits in Kenya with individuals who have HIV and have also volunteered at homeless shelters in my communities.

I’m looking to travel to learn different cultures and better my Spanish (I studied in college, but have lost most of it over the years, still a beginner). I would love to learn from others, build new skills, and be a part of a home and connect with the community.

I’m happy to help with a variety of things like farming, gardening, beekeeping, cleaning, organizing, cooking, pet care, teaching English, working with children, hospitality, bartending, and any event planning or business support. I love learning new things and typically learn fast!

I would love somewhere with a calm environment, good energy, and opportunities to connect with people or nature.

I have been working for the state of Colorado in an administrative role handling everything from HR, payroll, finances, and organizing logistics and budgets, but also have experience in the restaurant business being a waitress and bartender for many years. I dog sit, garden, and enjoy cooking/baking. I am also good with children and helping others!
