We’re traveling around Canada this winter and spring. We’re currently living in Vancouver!

Description

Hi! I’m Jamie, a content creator from Hong Kong and previously worked in Vancouver for two years. I’m now traveling with my partner, Lok Ching. I love animals and the planet. My hobbies include reading, hiking, dancing, and studying 3D animation. I truly believe the world would be a better place if we changed the way we treat everything around us. I consider myself a responsible and easy-going person. I have a cat, and I sometimes pet-sit for dogs. Although my animal-care experience is still growing, I always prepare well before starting something new, I genuinely love planning.

My partner, Lok Ching, is an amazing person who loves animals deeply. This is her first time visiting Canada! She works as a manager and barista in a vegan restaurant. Back in Hong Kong, we have one dog and one cat, and caring for them has shaped how we see the world. Her goal is to inspire more people to choose a vegan lifestyle so fewer animals have to suffer.

We both can’t wait to meet more animals in the future and experience living closely with them!

For Jamie

Content creation is my strongest skill. I’m great at storytelling and also have solid administrative abilities. I have five years of experience in project management and coordination, and I’m comfortable hosting events, handling promotions, and planning activities. I previously filmed for an animal-rescue channel in Hong Kong, which gave me basic experience with animal care and pet-sitting.

For Lok Ching

I’ve been vegetarian for seven years and vegan for three. I currently work as a manager at a vegan restaurant and also have experience in a veterinary clinic. I’m strong in restaurant operations and very attentive and gentle with animals. I also have six years of experience working with Shiba Inu and am confident handling dogs with strong personalities.
