Hello and welcome to our profile. 👏
We are Stefan & Jacqueline, both Germans and we are a couple for a long time. So let's get an overview about our life, skills and preferences!
Ladie's first:
Jacqueline's parents had a little farm with horses and a dog. So I was very lucky, because in my teenage years I had my own horse and spent the most of my time in the nature.
I made my apprentice in a hotel, where I got stuck for around ten years mostly with a heartwarming smile welcoming new guests at the reception. The last three years before we started this long journey I worked in the human ressources department of a bakery with a lot of nice, eatible benefits. 🥐☕️

And what about Stefan?
I studied Business Informatics and worked as a Controller. So I can get around with Computers pretty well. But honestly i have discovered is that I don't want to sit in front of a computer the whole day.

And by the way we have to say that we're actually not on our first big trip. In 2018 we visited southeastasia and new zealand for a year and came back with a lot of new experiences and of course with some new travel plans for the close future.

And so we decided to make a deep cut in our lifes and quit our jobs and apartment and start our new adventure with a great walk! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️
In August 2022 we went on a pilgrimage. (way of st. james) Starting point was "Köln" in germany and target was santiago de compostella.🇪🇸 In this time we really understood what "the route is the goal" means. And of course to live in and with nature for totally six months did a lot with us.
That's an other reason why we are here on workaway.

Our focus is to get more in touch with nature, culture and locals and this by travelling in an enviromentfriendly way.
Also we want to spent our time mostly outside and get in touch with great people who like to share their knowledge. And the cherry on the cake would be the companionship with animals. (e.g.🐕🐄🐎🐓)
And honestly it's sometimes just nice to stay in one place and not always move around. For us slowly travelling is the best 😊

What can we tell more?
We are open minded people and easy to get around with (we think so). We live together for thirteen years by now, the end is open. 😅
We are interested in meditation, we did among other an eyesopening vipassana retreat in nepal and of course we like to do some yoga. 🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️ (Jacqueline more than Stefan) And we are vegetarians.

The best to know for you is that we take work seriously as you would expect it from germans. 😜 We both love animals but we have to admit that Stefan is more into Cats and Goats. 🐐 🐈

In southamerica we practiced spanish, but actually we are not fluent. So it would be nice to develop that, but we're also open for new languages and can help with german as well.

Stefan: IT Background ->overall Knowledge but Focus on handling Data, creating Reports etc.

Jacqueline:
- Grew up surrounded of 4 Horses (one was her own) -> ride and handling horses experience for 7 years (english).
- Experience with tourism
