Description
Hello, my name is Jacob, I am 23 years old and I graduated this August with a Bachelor's degree in Mobility Management. I am currently working in a recruitment company. As my English still has some room for improvement, I would like to work in Australia from 11.11.24 to 11.03.25 to improve my English for my Master's degree. In my free time, I do martial arts and go to the gym. If the weather is good, I also enjoy riding my motorcycle. I have a car driver's license as well as a truck license. I'm a person who likes to get stuck in and meet new people. This is also one of the biggest goals of this stay: meeting new people and getting to know the wonderful country of Australia.

I am a very friendly and open person who likes to lend a hand. I wouldn't say I'm untalented with my hands, but I really enjoy anything to do with machines. Apart from that, I'm always happy to adapt to the circumstances.

In my free time, I like to get involved with the volunteer fire department. I would say this is one of my favorite hobbies, it is very close to my heart. When the weather is good, I also enjoy riding my motorcycle and spending time with my friends.

The time with Lisa and Wes went by way too fast, the initial 2 weeks turned into about 3 weeks and if I had had the time I would have stayed longer. You always felt very welcome and integrated, so I had the opportunity to play pool or golf with Wes. Jacob was a fantastic workaway guest. He worked exceptionally hard, moving gravel, sand, mowing, cleaning gutters etc. he helped Wes in building a chicken shed and was interested in the work he did. Jacob stayed for approximately 4 weeks (Nov-Dec 2024) and worked in my garden clearing weeds and cutting back undergrowth which unfortunately I had let get away from me due to personal circumstances.
