Hello everyone!

I have just signed up to Workaway today and I can tell already that the site is full of incredible life-changing opportunities. I am English but have been studying in Lyon for the last year which has allowed me to achieve fluency in French. I also speak a little Italian and am keen to improve on this, as well as one day learning Spanish.

I am an energetic personality who finds joy in nature, physical activity, conversation and language exchange. Currently, it is climbing and running which are keeping me motivated whilst I finish my studies. When I'm climbing I feel strong and concentrated and it brings me real pleasure. I am very keen to gain more experience climbing outdoors since I am confined to climbing gyms for the moment.

Any sort of exchange where I can broaden my mind in a sporty, energetic and natural atmosphere would be exactly what I am looking for.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have lots of work experience which - whilst not necessarily applicable to Workaway skills - has allowed me to become an effective team player and a hard-worker. Namely, working in bars and restaurants.

Then, I have experience teaching English in an international school which seems to be a sought after skill on this platform.

Finally, I am a very quick learner (evidenced by consistent academic achievement) which I think can translate to quickly picking up more practical skills (e.g. carpentry). Whilst I have not done this before, I really think that with my energetic and enthusiastic approach I would pick up these skills quickly.
