Description
In Australia until the winds of home blow me back to Ireland. I'm interested especially in exploring nature and the wilderness on offer here in New South Wales. I am a qualified teacher and especially interested in languages.
I am passionate about mountains and mountaineering and am keen to keep improving my skills in rock climbing and overnight hiking. Other interests of mine are photography, painting, DIY and anything with my hands. I can't wait to connect with any and all hosts!

DIY. Good with my hands and a quick to learn in all things practical.
Outdoors. I am a keen outdoors person and have a passion for mountains. In 2024 I summited three mountains over 5000m! I'd love to learn from other outdoorsy people too.
Art. I love designing and creating.
Communication. I am interested and curious in the people around me.
Music. I am a lover of music and a tryer of instruments. I can play the traditional Irish bodhrán drum and am a guitarist and try my hand at a handful of other instruments.
Gardening. I love gardening especially the landscaping end of it. I grew up in the countryside and had a passion for building and making different things in the garden. On significant project I completed was a stone patio and fire pit out of local stone from ploughed fields.
I can speak English, Irish and (some) Spanish.
