Hey all of you lovely People of the Earth, I am Izabel... aspiring explorer! lover of open skies, coffee, rum, clementines, coconut, prancing around in the sun, the forest, the sea, music, art and getting creative with colourful nutritious deliciousness!

I am willing to apply myself to all sorts of work. I am adaptable and have many transferable skills and a good work ethic. I take work on with awareness, attention, care and the passionate belief that there's no point in doing it unless it's going to be done fully, devotedly and intentionally. I am enthusiastic to apply myself to the job! And that job can be anything really, though I do have some special interests...In particular I would love to experience and to learn practically about how to create a self-sustainable life. I wish to learn how to build and how to garden. I would also like to learn about food & cooking from different countries, and I keep my mind and heart open; it would be great to experience different walks of life and learn about people's faiths and belief systems.

In all, I am simply out to deepen my relationship with the world and to find out what I can do to help, and to do it, and to discover my potential. I am keen to visit places that I have never been before, to meet new people, to be of service.

My most loved interests and practices are...
mysticism, mythology, choreography, kenjitsu, creative writing, cooking, nature, exploring, adventuring... I love being outside under the sun or the moon in wild, wide open spaces.

I'm interested in art as being, as experience... I do not separate it from the everyday. I believe that an inquiring spirit, a flexible mind, and a sensitivity to the miracle/mystery of existence are all elements that art and living a free, authentic life have in common!
I consider food to be a form of folk art too; something that is hand made and part of a place and a people. The cultural connotations of food fascinate me and I'm also very keenly exploring the relationship between food, land and well being.
Also I have a special love for textiles from different cultures. National and tribal dress and the concept of talismans and legacy fascinate me. I love to learn about the concept behind the cloth: the values, beliefs and ideas that went into every choice of plant fiber, process, colour, design and how art is connected to the land and the community.

My intention is to muck in, learn, to be of service and to share what I can; what is useful to others.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am very creative - I can paint, cook and I know a bit about working with textiles. 'Very happy to work in the kitchen conjuring up tasty kitchen beets!! ;-)

I love animals, outdoor work and looking after people. I can help in any of these areas. I am responsible, attentive and all too happy to help! I have mostly been employed as a general assistant over the years, so I'm used to jumping in where ever I'm needed and doing whatever needs doing. I will always pull my weight and don't mind getting my hands dirty!

I have over five years experience in catering so I am accustomed to food preparation & kitchen assistance, baking, coffee, handling money and keeping all areas clean and tidy. I enjoy cooking [and dare say I'm not too bad at it!] so that's something I can do most definitely! My cooking repertoire is good and simple, and I love to make beautiful stuff for people!
