Description
Hello I'm Ivy, a 21 year old agricultural science student from Germany.
I've been riding since a young age and spent last year working on different stud farms in Germany ad Ireland. I am a confident rider and have experience in breaking in and training young horses, ground work, yard duties, general and basic veterinary care.
I also spent a month on a sheep farm helping during the lambing season. This was an invaluable experience that I truly loved. I gained some experience in aspects such as assisting with births, feeding pet lambs, some veterinary work and tailing and dosing the lambs.
Workaway offers me the perfect combination in traveling and gaining more experience and knowledge in a field a love.Centres d’intérêt

I would describe myself as very motivated and persevering, I am also very organized and like to see my tasks through. I can work independently but my friends would also describe me as a kind, outgoing and communicative person.
I grew up in Germany however my mother is from England so I speak both languages fluently as well as French and a bit of Spanish.
I have been riding since the age of seven and have had a loan horse for several years as a result I would class myself as an confident rider. In addition I'm comfortable doing groundwork and lunging as well as know how to take care of tack and basic horse injuries or illnesses.Âge

Sabrina "saved" me from a not-so-nice Workaway experience and I couldn't have hoped for a better place. All my hopes that I had for my time in Ireland came true here.
