Description

Hello :) I'm Silvia from Padova, Italy.

After 7 years employed as an environmental engineer specialized in climate strategies and sustainability, I decide to quit my job. My desire is to take some time to try and follow what has always inspired me, something that I know can make me happier: working in contact with Nature. It's something I've experienced before, but not long enough to become my everyday life. And I believe it might be!
I am looking for experiences in farms, hostels, families...

More about me: I am a dynamic person, proactive, precise, responsible, sensible, also sensitive. I'm curious to experience new lifestyles and new realities, I prefer company, but I have learned to be alone and appreciate silence. I love honesty and sincerity (I am a Libra), so you'll always find dialogue and communication with me. I love singing, cooking, cycling, doing yoga, reading, I love natural wines (I worked both in the vineyard and in a wine shop) and foraging.

I have a dog, he seems a wolf, but he is harmless and very sweet. He is part of my life and I hope you can welcome him too!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- I have always been passionate about plants and flowers, my mum taught me how to collect wild herbs, my parents always had a vegetable garden and I have always enjoyed helping them. Today I spend my time mainly picking fruit and turning it into jams!
- I helped a few friends, wine producers on Colli Euganei, for harvesting, pruning (I loved it, very calming) and small jobs in the field and in the cellar.
- I love to cook! Italian, international, veg and empty-fridge dishes.. I always have brilliant ideas and enthusiasm for combining ingredients! Someone also calls me chef ;)
- I worked a lot with children, in educational projects related to sustainability and waste colletion, always playing into the woods.
- In addition to my technical skills as an environmental engineer, I very often hold training sessions on topics related to sustainability and how to tackle climate crisis.
- As a Scout I learned how to tie knots, build with wood, light a fire: basic survival in the woods.
